Black Forest Part 4

So much to say about this trip. It was well worth it! After the farm we took a much needed nap on the bus and ventured on to the town of coo-coo clocks, Triberg!

We loved looking at the coo-coo clocks. Its not much our style so we didn't buy one but they are very detailed and very expensive. The cafe we went to had Black Forest Cake. It had alcohol in it so we really didn't care for it too much. The girls got some chocolate from the front of the cafe. The architecture of the homes and buildings were beautiful. On our walk around town we came upon a small festival. Everyone was wearing typical German festival attire. So cute. Not so cute was the whole roasted pig head! Yuck!

This was a very full trip and I think we all ended up sleeping the whole way home. So glad I was able to finish the Black Forest blog for you. I hope I can catch up on all we've done since then.

The Black Forest part 3

Hey! Check out the date! Yeah, I am just now getting back to blogging. That story can be told later but I wanted to catch up on where I left off. So, we were in the Black Forest.

This is where we had lunch. It was at a beautiful farm & brewery. They had homemade pickles that the girls loved.

The owner told us that her family all work here at the farm and brewery and now.

After lunch the girls wanted to ride the ponies and horses. Kris took Kinadie and Kara while Kaylee Jo and I waited our turn.

The girls all loved the farm. However, we still had more to do. Our next stop was the town to do some shopping. Part 4 next...
