Spring Time Fun

Just wanted to post some of the pictures from Spring Break and Easter. One day we went to the playground behind our house. There are a lot of days that we've seen a cute brown bunny running around out here. The girls are certain it is the Easter Bunny. Later on, Kinadie and Kaylee Jo got new bikes and Kara learned how to ride without her training wheels with a little demonstrating from big sissy, Kinadie!

Kaylee Jo made it to the center of the spider web!

Monkey on the monkey bars!

Kinadie's new bike!

Kaylee Jo's wheels!

When Daddy got off work, we went to the courts to bike for a while.

Here is Kara taking off on her own!! She did really well!

This one is something else! ha ha

Of course Daddy can't keep away from the fun!

Poor Kara. She got her first skinned knee. So it was time to go home!

Kinadie got a surprise in the mail the next day! Thanks, BB & Grandaddy!

Later during the week we decided to go bowling.

King of the lanes right here!

Kinadie wants to capture everything these days.

So big!

Dancing queen!

As competitive as Daddy is, he didn't let anyone beat him! Kara got 2nd! And the rest of us had lots of fun playing and cheering!

Saturday is always pancake/waffle morning. Kinadie wanted me to try a smoothie recipe from her American Girl magazine.

"Momma, cut mine!"

After Spring Break we had an awards ceremony. Kara got an award for being very respectful.

This Saturday the girls hunted eggs. It was a cold afternoon and the eggs were quickly gone.

Later we did our Empty Tomb Rolls. The Easter story is told while we make the rolls.

He IS RISEN!!!!

The tomb is EMPTY!!!!!

And of course we colored eggs.

That night Kinadie went to work with Daddy and the girls helped me set out the eggs and a carrot snack for the Easter Bunny out in the playground. They were very excited!

The Easter Bunny made it just in time because the next morning the girls were ready to go at 6am!! I stood them out to take a picture before they took an early morning egg hunt and we realized that big black birds were stealing the eggs!!!! Kinadie was not happy but I reminded her that we have plenty of eggs to share.

They were doing fake smiles because in between clicks they were yelling at the black birds to fly away!

Next year the Easter Bunny will have to hide eggs in the house!

Later in the house they were told that they had to search for their Easter treats.

Kaylee Jo found hers first!

Kara found hers!

Finally Kinadie found hers! Easter Bunny hid hers behind the TV!

Snack time!

Time for church!

The girls sang songs at church. Kara and Kaylee Jo held hands the whole time!

Kinadie's group sang Low in the Grave He Lay

Long post but we are having lots of fun and staying busy as usual. God is so good and we have so much to be grateful for! We miss you all. We hope that these pictures can be like a little visit from us. Love to you From Kris, Valerie, & the girls!
